I am on the kind that makes you really sore.. they told me it was like being hit by a bus. I take treatment on Thursdays.. and start feeling a little sore on Saturday night... then Sunday and Monday are rough. So far I have been able to stay on my daily schedule.. I go to church and family activities on Sunday and have worked on Mondays.. but am a little miserable. I take motrin..2 hours later Tylenol...2 hrs later motrin, etc. And, it does help. But, I think it is better than being sick to your stomoach. Don't know if this helps or not.. I have been reading and praying for you. I had more issues with taxol but very little issues with AC. I highly rec. having a prescription for Neurontin on hand. I had a terrible time after the first round. When I complained to my chemo nurse durning my second round- she called in some Neurontin. IMHO, the best drug I have ever taken. Still had pain, but was tolerable. I am praying that you never need the drug as you deserve an easier ride with taxol. It also gave me a sinus headache which was helped by slowing down the taxol drip rate. On a happier note, I had my last taxol last aug. 26 and I was hat free by Christmas! (although taxol made my eyebrows and eyelashes fall out twice) congrats on making it through AC!
