Lindy ... I am on the kind that makes you really sore.. they told me it was like being hit by a bus. I take treatment on Thursdays.. and start feeling a little sore on Saturday night... then Sunday and Monday are rough. So far I have been able to stay on my daily schedule.. I go to church and family activities on Sunday and have worked on Mondays.. but am a little miserable. I take motrin..2 hours later Tylenol...2 hrs later motrin, etc. And, it does help. But, I think it is better than being sick to your stomoach. Don't know if this helps or not.. I have been reading and praying for you.

We're soooo happy for you to be this far in your treatments! Way to go, girl!!! You amaze us all with your strength, faith, and witness. God is using you strongly! Someday when your children are old enough to understand all this and hear your stories, they, too, will praise God for the faith of their mother and father. They are so blessed to have you! And we believe that "have you" they will - for a very long time to come. As you walk this journey, remember the word "focus" - to keep it on God and not your circumstances. We love you, Lindy, and pray, pray, pray, for you and your family. Great is God's faithfulness - His mercies are new every morning. Love & Prayers...

congrats on making it through AC!

I had more issues with taxol but very little issues with AC. I highly rec. having a prescription for Neurontin on hand. I had a terrible time after the first round. When I complained to my chemo nurse durning my second round- she called in some Neurontin. IMHO, the best drug I have ever taken. Still had pain, but was tolerable.

I am praying that you never need the drug as you deserve an easier ride with taxol. It also gave me a sinus headache which was helped by slowing down the taxol drip rate.

On a happier note, I had my last taxol last aug. 26 and I was hat free by Christmas! (although taxol made my eyebrows and eyelashes fall out twice)
