It’s done

We just got word that the surgeries are done.

During the six hour surgery, she had both breasts removed, lymph nodes removed, a hysterectomy, and her bladder tied up. The great news is that her ovaries were clear so she was able to keep them.

Thank you all for your prayers and well-wishes. We are so in awe of each of you.

    Dusty - what great news. And you are so silly to be in awe of us…. that is such an understatement as to how we feel about your family. Continuing to uphold each and everyone of you all in prayers. Give Lindy hugs and love when you can and the same for you! God is GOOD!

    Hey Dusty - I’m so glad you posted the updates; you’ve both been on my mind all day. I am thankful that Lindy’s surgery is over! You both must be exhausted. I pray that Lindy is able to rest comfortably tonight (and has enough pain meds to keep her knocked out!) and that you get some much deserved sleep. You guys are amazing.

    Thanks for taking the time on what must be an overwhelming day to keep us all updated. We have been praying so hard for both of you all day.     I’m so glad it’s over. Hopefully she’s sleepy enough from the pain medicine. We’ll pray for healing and rest.

    I can not get you guys off my mind. Lifting you up in prayer all day long and carrying some of the burden, my heart is so heavy!
    So happy things went well, and she could keep her ovaries. Praying for strength for you to Dusty….. stay strong, when you feel exhausted and can’t go on let God carry you through. Praying for a great recovery for Lindy and peace of mind.
