Week Two
Wow. I’m glad I was warned that the second week after surgery is worse than the first. Boy is that true! I am really sore. I’m sore all over and especially on the right side where they took the lymph nodes. Yowzers. I’ll be okay. Just a matter of time.
Max and Samantha came home Saturday night. It was good to have all the kids home again, but very stressful. They were tired and very insecure. They wanted to be held all the time. They didn’t want anyone out of their sight. Sunday was spent with a lot of tears. Poor little kids.
Samantha spent the day at Jill’s house today. It looked like they had fun together:

Adorable picture! Hope you’re feeling better soon. I’m sure it takes time for all of the areas to heal. I can’t even imagine. I’m glad you’re all in one home again.

Sorry you had to have a rough night with the kids. That has to be SO hard to not be able to pick them up and squeeze them tight! Praying this week will turn around and you will feel better soon:)

Dear Lindy, I know it must do your heart so much good to have all your family together, even through all the tears. Just try to remember the big picture, and that someday those little ones probably won’t even remember these times but will always be thankful for what you chose to go through so you could give them the hugs they needed in their growing-up days for all the years ahead. Love & Prayers…
