I had my mastectomy .. and they took another 4 nodes (they removed 14 six years ago) .... and so far it isn't a problem, but it has only been two weeks... if you don't mind, let me know how they tell you to get rid of the liquid. Hope all is going well ... each step of the process is getting us toward the end of the process..... I think of you often. I would like to know what they tell you about the lymphadema. You deserve an extra piece of cake or whatever sweet treat you crave after the road you have just taken. Reward yourself and the time will come for you to work on that. I love your honesty. Don't we all have something to change about ourselves in some regard!! I am the SAME way about the sweet thing....my mother in law will say things like 'oh I only need a sliver of that, its too sweet' and I'm like heck no! Gimmee a big piece! You are just so great to be honest...people love honesty! I think you have enought on your plate and its a time of your life where you can just enjoy food....you have to have one area that is just easy! You'll get it off I'm sure...just cut yourself some slack! You just BEAT cancer! You can work on the weight soon enough.
