As of 3:45 today Spring Break has officially begun! Yahooooooooo. We’re not going away this year because we have too much going on, but it’ll be fun nonetheless.
I’m putting a post out because I’ve been having a rough time getting off the steroid. If you have a moment to pray today, could you put one up there for me? I will take my last dose of the steroid on Friday. Tapering off has been brutal and I’ve had every side effect possible. You name, I’ve had it. Nausea, vomitting, migraines (they put my on a new migraine med and it’s helped tremendously – PTL), fatigue, muscle aches/pains, the blahs, etc. The NP at Dr. Schott’s office said they will go away in about a month and I just need to press on. So press on I shall. In the meantime, it’s gonna suck, but I’ll be fine. I’ll be fine….I say that a lot lately.
Oh great God be small enough to hear me now.

Oh, Lindy, your physical strength may not be so great right now, but your spiritual strength is strong enough to run about any marathon there is. I hope someday that I can attain the heights you have risen to. You are my inspiration. We will be praying for miracles great and small, and that your family may be wrapped in the sunshine of God’s love as He refreshes and renews your strength. “The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forever more.” (Ps. 121:8)
Already prayed for you today and I send up prayers all day long for you. Hoping you can be off of it for good!! Hoping these side effects will go away soon so you can enjoy spring break:) Praying for complete healing!

Lindy, I am so sorry to hear that you’ve been going through a tough time with getting off these meds. I will pray that this continues to get easier for you and that you will ultimately feel much, much better without the steroids. Oh Lindy! I’ll keep praying for you!! I’ve been there with steriod withdrawl, it HURTS! I know the pain in your joints is tremendously agonizing, vomiting, headaches. YOU CAN MAKE IT! Our God is awesome and know’s the plans he has for you. Though you may not like them right now you WILL get through this! Fight through this, you know being on the steriods suck so keeping up the fight and we’ll be praying!
